My Tag for October

This is my take on Tim Tag for October.
Halloween is not as big as in the USA here in Germany.
I didn´t have any of his materials to use, so I made just a Halloween themed Tag.
I used a black Tag and colored it with Picked Fence Distress stain totaly. On the edge I used Antique Bronze Distress Stain.
For the crow, the pumpkin and the bat I used Tims masks and colored with Spiced Marmelade and Blending Tool. The small pumpin on top is made with a glue pen and glitter. I attached my tag and some autum colored leaves.

Mini journal

Today i finished a mini journal. The same style i made some weeks ago.
I used papers from different companies. I decorated the front with some Prima flowers and leafes and some embellishments.
the inside is also decorated with bling, ribbons and flowers. There is also a pocket inside.

With this journal i´d like to join the SSS challenge Leaf-spiration.

Yesterday i was in Leipzig with my good friend Franziska. We visited the Hobby and Games fair. You get nearly everything crafty there.
I bought 2 Prima paper pads, some cardstock, 2 distress stains, Washi Tape, Resin pieces by Prima, Prima Flowers and some fabric.

And i also started a new project today. Its a key holder thing i bought at the flea market 2 weeks ago.

I removed the red velvet inside and used it as a stencil for the paper i'd like to glue in.
I also painted the inside.

here is my Tim Holtz tag for September

As always, i don't have all the things he used. But i tried my best to make it similar to his creation.

And last weekend we bought a tree for our house. Its a Cercis Canadensis. In spring he will look so beautiful when he blooms , also in autum with the dark red/violett heart shaped leaves.

More Shopping

Another day with shopping joy ;-)

Today i was in Potsdam, looking for plants.
I bought 11.

One plant is missing on the Photo.
For 2012 i will not buy more plants!!!!
I now have to plant my flower bulbs.

sorry, it took more than a day to update. I totaly forgot about it!
So today i have some pics of the things we did the last week.
First there is the new car :-)

The new grass in front of our house/on the street

And maybe you remember a picture in April
The grass is growing and green, we have a water barrel.

 

 And i created a flower bed for my Eden Rose 85 and the Phlox

 

At the plantmarket i bought a beautyful phlox, some Hostas, a fern, a heuchera and a white marguerite. And in the gardencentre i bought the Eden Rose.

Last sunday i was at the fleamarket where i got some old books, a wooden box, 2 old spoons and 2 silver (i think its silver) trays.

Tag for August

I´m a bit late, but still in time for my take on Tim´s tag for August.
I used my new Summer Distress ink pads to color the tag

The last weeks were busy, doing things in the garden and around the house.
I had some trouble with my car last week. I have to repair it, but that would cost ~2000€.
So we were looking for a newer one.
We found a red Renauld Clio from 2006. We will buy it i think.
Today we did a lot in the garden, with my parents in law and brother in law.
More tomorrow.
Tomorrow i will go shopping in Berlin. Ist a Market for plant in the Botanical Garden.
I hope to get some special plants.

Hallo Baby

Today i made a cute pink baby card.
I used a card with a cut out window where i glued some transparent paper behind.
The baby is a 3-D motive.
I decorated with a flower, 2 leafes and 2 big pink flatback pearls i bought yesterday.
I stamped " Hallo Baby" on a piece of pink paper and cut it out with my new
Cricut Paper trimmer. I distressed it with the new Summer color ink pad picked raspberry from Tim.
But i think i have to change the color for: Hallo Baby. Its too dark.

My first Tri-shutter-card

Hey there,

today i made my first Tri-shutter-card. I think its very hard to do when you only have a ruler and an exacto knife....
But i think i looks ok for the first time. What do you think!?
I used Tim Holtz distress paper for the card and Prima paper
for the small paper cut outs. Everything is distressed with Wild Honey Distress ink pads
by Tim Holtz. And i stamped some images and phrases inside with Archival ink in sepia.

This is a card for the Simon says stamp challenge: No rules....

Layered card

Hello friends!

Graphic 45 is having a challenge.

Make a 10 minute card

I liked the scetch they used for it and so i made one.
This card fits also the SSS challenge: Layered.

For the card i used a creme colored card and some Prima Botanical papers.
I distressed the papers with the Prima distressing tool and Ranger wild honey distress ink pad.
The image is a premade 3-D image from the La Blanche web shop. I bought it years ago.
I used some stickers for the corners.
The sentiment says: Congratulations.

July Tag for 12 Tags of 2012

Hello out there!

Its sunday again and i managed to craft a bit today.
I made my july - tag for Tims 12 Tags of 2012.

Its a craft paper tag. I used a Tattered Angels stencil with distress ink for the background.
Then I took my distress ink refills to give it that splatter look.
I put some Tim Holtz masks on the upper part and sprayed the whole tag with some TA Glimmer Mist.
The next step was to stamp the border in the middle with embossing ink. I embossed with Vintage photo distress embossing powder. I riped out a piece of paper and used some Walnut Stain distress ink to darken the edges. I stamped a phrase on it and attached a bit of twine. I used some foam pads to attach it to the tag.
The small stars are from TA too. I also inked them with red and brown Distress ink and used different foam pads to attach them for some depth.
The last things i did were to stamp the eye inside a splatter with blach Archival ink and i attached some seem binding.
