Tag for January

In 2013 Tim Holtz is doing a Tag every month again.
Here is what i made out of the January Tag.

Lace Love...

... is the theme for this weeks challenge over at Simon says stamp and show.
I tried my best on this challenge to use the lace. I love lace and have a hole bunch of it, but its somehow hard for me to find a good way to use it. Normally i use it as a border like in my card i made today.
As Easter is not far away, i started to make easter cards.
For this i used some rose cardstock and colored the edges with the Vintage Photo Distress Pad. The paper in the background is from Primas Tea Thyme collection that i also colored the same way.
I used a 3-dimesional picture....and some pink lace from a Deco Shop.
In my opinion there are too less scrapbooking papers with the easter theme.....What do you think?!

Merry Christmas

LITTLE CHRISTMAS GEDICHT
When the last Kalendersheets
flattern through the winterstreets
and Dezemberwind is blowing
then ist everybody knowing
that it is not allzuweit
she does come the Weihnachtszeit
All the Menschen, Leute, people
flippen out of ihr warm Stüble
run to Kaufhof, Aldi, Mess
make Konsum and business,
kaufen this und jene things
and the churchturmglocke rings.
Manche holen sich a Tännchen
when this brennt they cry "Attention".
Rufen for the Feuerwehr
"Please come quick to löschen her!"
Goes the Tännchen off in Rauch
they are standing on the Schlauch.
In the kitchen of the house
mother makes the Christmasschmaus.
She is working, schufts and bakes
the hit is now her Joghurtkeks
and the Opa says als Tester
"We are killed bis to Silvester".
Then he fills the last Glas wine-
yes this is the christmastime!
Day by day does so vergang
and the holy night does come
you can think, you can remember
this is immer in Dezember.
Then the childrenlein are coming
candle-Wachs is abwärts running.
Bing of Crosby Christmas sings
while the Towerglocke rings
and the angels look so fine
well this is the Weihnachtstime.
Baby-eyes are kugelrund
the family feels kerngesund
when unterm Weihnachtsbaum they're hocking
then nothing can them ever shocking.
They are happy, are so fine
this happens in the christmastime.
The animals all in the house
the Hund, the Katz, the bird, the Maus,
are turning round the Weihnachtsstress,
enjoy this as never nie
well they find Kitekat and Chappi
in the Geschenkkarton of Papi.
The family begins to sing
and wieder does a Glöckchen ring.
Zum Song vom grünen Tannenbaum
the Tränen rennen down and down.
bis our mother plötzlich flennt
"The christmas-Gans im Ofen brennt!"
Her nose indeed is very fine

Simon says stamp and show

inspired by Tim's 12 Tags

 

My  favourite technique is the one he used on his 9th tag in 2011.

Stamping with a background stamp, embossing with clear powder. Then inking the whole tag and again embossing with clear powder.

This is the tag i made today. I used some tiny red bells. The colors i used are Evergreen Bough and Festive Berries. The Christmas Tree and the chipboard piece are Graphic 45.

The cardstock with "Christmas Day" is from Authentique. Just added a blue Sem binding ribbon and some more tiny red bells on top. Ohhh, and some stickles Rock Candy on the tree.

Vacation

Today is my first day of vacation. I just have to go to work 4 days in December: 20th, 21st, 27th and 28th. Then the year is over....
I hope to get some things done during my free time. We still need some christmas presents and i have to decorate the Christmas Tree. We want to visit my hubbys aunt and today we both get a haircut.
We want to make cookies for Christmas......
We had a lot of snow at the weekend, about 15 cm i would say. But its melting away, i think its warmer today.

So there is so much to do, lets get started. Hope to see you soon with some creative related themes.

Hello....

my dear friends.
Before i forget to do it i have to upload my Tim Holtz tag for november.
I also made a card for the Simon says challenge: stamp without ink.

This challenge was a bit hard for me. first i tried stampink with the Ranger distress stains,
but i thought it lookednot good. I then tried the Paint dabber Picket Fence. It looked ok so far.
I decided to give it a chance, because i did not know what to use else.....

For the card i used brown cardstock, red paper , from Glitz i think, for the background. i used a snowflake stamp and the picket fence dabber on it.
The girl pic is from Authentique, i distressed it.
Did i told you i like using distressing tool and ink!?
Merry Christmas is stamped with picket fence too. I glued some bigger silver flatback pearls
in the corners and many tiny cream flatback pearls all over the card. Thats all

Some cards

Hey there....

I made 2 cards on tuesday evening.
The first is for the Simon says stamp and show challenge.
This weeks theme: Inspiration Francaise.
I watched my papers and found my Le Cirque Paper by G45 .
I just layered some Papers and cut outs. Everything is distressed as always, 
i just like to use my distressing tool and stamp pads.

The other card is a christmas card.

I made a Birthday Card with my new Prima Tea Thyme Papers. The papers are beautiful as always!
You can't have enough Birthday cards, i think.

I used a light pink cardstock for the card and also light pink papers from the Paper Pad.
I distressed everything with the Tea Dye distress stamp pad from Ranger.
Just added 2 Prima flowers and some pearls.
I hope you like it.

My Tag for October

This is my take on Tim Tag for October.
Halloween is not as big as in the USA here in Germany.
I didn´t have any of his materials to use, so I made just a Halloween themed Tag.
I used a black Tag and colored it with Picked Fence Distress stain totaly. On the edge I used Antique Bronze Distress Stain.
For the crow, the pumpkin and the bat I used Tims masks and colored with Spiced Marmelade and Blending Tool. The small pumpin on top is made with a glue pen and glitter. I attached my tag and some autum colored leaves.

Mini journal

Today i finished a mini journal. The same style i made some weeks ago.
I used papers from different companies. I decorated the front with some Prima flowers and leafes and some embellishments.
the inside is also decorated with bling, ribbons and flowers. There is also a pocket inside.

With this journal i´d like to join the SSS challenge Leaf-spiration.

Yesterday i was in Leipzig with my good friend Franziska. We visited the Hobby and Games fair. You get nearly everything crafty there.
I bought 2 Prima paper pads, some cardstock, 2 distress stains, Washi Tape, Resin pieces by Prima, Prima Flowers and some fabric.

And i also started a new project today. Its a key holder thing i bought at the flea market 2 weeks ago.

I removed the red velvet inside and used it as a stencil for the paper i'd like to glue in.
I also painted the inside.
