Depth of Distress at SSS

I made a tag for the Simon says stamp challenge: Depth of Distress.
Making the journal on at the weekend was so much fun, im in such a crafting mood.
If I just had more time.
There is so much to do in the garden, meeting friends... so there is not much time left for crafting :-(
But this journal....
I´m addicted...I have to make another one!

But for now i have only my tag. I used some Ranger distress Stamp pads for the background. Stamped some clocks with Archival black.
Cut out some pics from the G45 Steampunk Debutant Paperline. I distressed them with the Prima Distress tool and used some walnut distress stain on the edges. Glued clock parts on the small one.
Colored a TH Word metal piece with alcohol ink and Snow Cap paint dabber.
Decorated with a piece of blue seembinding and a small bird from Primas Vintage trinkets by Marion Smith.

This is what i made.

Just try it, it´s so easy and so much fun to make.

Its also my take on Tim´s tag for june.

2 projects

Hi Bloggers,
after a long time I am back with 2 projects.
The first is a birthdaycard. I ts in darker colors for a man.
It fits the Simon says stamp and show... one for the boys challenge.

The other project is my take on Tim Holtz´ tag for May.

I hope to be back soon.

A card i made

After nearly 2 weeks without crafting i made a birthdaycard on friday.

I hope you like it.
I used some of the new Prima Flowers and a new SIIC swirl.
I like the size of the crystals. They are really small. I think it is a good size for cards.

Fairy in a bottle

For a long time i wanted to "capture a fairy in a bottle".
This weeks theme at Simon says stamp and show made me doing it.
Theme is: bottle it
I used a fairy from the Graphic 45 "Once upon a springtime" paperline.
Some Background paper from Glitz "Beautiful dreamer"
Trims from "Creating is fun" on Zibbet.
Prima Vintage trinkets.
Some Prima vine. A Prima flower from the new release.
A birdcage charm from Drew Scotts shop on Etsy.
A pinecone and some foam flakes from a model railway set.

12 tags of 2012 March

Today i´d like to share with you my tag i made for Tim Holtz´12 tags of 2012.

For the background I used 2 different flower stamps because I don´t have the wood stamp Tim used.

I stamped with walnut stain like he did. I colored the tag with vintage photo inkpad and then I distressed the edges of the tag with a nail file.I colored the distressed edges with walnut stain inkpad.

The bigger butterfly is from Tims Grungeboard elements collection.I first embossed the whole Butterfly with vintage photo embossing powder and then glued the snippets from his paperline on it. After it dryed I put glossy accents on the snippets.

For the small butterfly I cut a butterfly from cardboard where I glued on double sided sticky tape. I glued on the snippets and the embossing powder, then embossed. The sticky tape shrunk a bit. But this way the butterfly had a small white edge all around. I inked the edges of both butterflies with walnut stain inkpad.

The sentiment is stamped with Archival ink Jet Black.

The left flower is made from Tims tissue tape with a metal button glued on.

The right flower is made from two Prima pedals that I inked with Glimmer Mists and just a bit of Tims Distress Stain in Walnut. Both pedals are held together with a small TH fastener.

I glued the butterflies on the tag and tied some seembinding on top of the tag and decorated with a Pink Paislee metal butterfly charm.

I forgot to spray it with some glimmer spray, but I think it looks good without it.
